Do You Believe In Angels?

   According to the Oxford dictionary, the definition of an "angel" is "a spiritual being believed to act as an attendant, agent, or messenger of God, conventionally represented in human form with wings and a long robe". We always think of an angel as someone who has wings like that of a dove, with either a sword or a harp or even a bow. But there's some stories implying that not all angels are like the picture below. In fact, some of them are literally in their human forms, living with us without noticing them.

Celestial beings, they are called. Some people can't grasp the idea of them being like us, mortal ones. It's not because of their devotion to their beliefs, but rather it is called "anthromorphism". We have been fed the idea of these angels being divine and immortal, of not having the characteristics of us, humans. They don't belong to our world but we could belong to theirs when we die. That they're supposed to be guarding us and delivering the messages of the Greater Power. But what if you learn that some of them are living with us being unnoticed? That the Supreme Being sent them here to guide us further by giving them their human forms for us to be able to relate more? To make each of us a believer in His works & miracles?


To me, one thing is for sure - angels are God's workers. Maybe they're just waiting on us to finally notice them. Maybe they've been watching you closely than you are aware of, just waiting for your 'go' signal...
